  • About the Specialized Group

    The Hydraulic Structures program was established in 1982 and is the second graduate program in the department. It focuses on the analysis and design of structures in contact with water, including dams, spillways, weirs, sluiceways, stilling basins, and marine structures. The program includes courses and projects in the fields of structures, hydraulics, and geotechnical areas. It also prepares interested students for a Ph.D. program.
