The deputy of Research and International Relations of the faculty has been established in line with the strategic objectives of the university. These objectives include excellence in research, technology development, entrepreneurship in the country, social impact, and being a prominent figure at the international level. The Office of Research and International Relations of the Faculty operates to implement these goals within the faculty.

The activities of the Sharif Civil Engineering Scientific Association date back to 1990 (1369 in the Iranian calendar), making it the oldest student organization that operates in various scientific and research fields. The structure of this association is as follows: 1-3 editors-in-chief are at the top of the decision-making hierarchy, and the other members of this journal work in several sections.
