Actuator No. 1

Actuator No. 1, with a static capacity of 1300 kN and a dynamic capacity of 1000 kN, is one of the high-capacity loading systems in the laboratory. It features an effective stroke of 250 mm and can apply static and dynamic forces in large-scale experiments. Its high accuracy, fast response, and full compatibility with the Power Pack system make this actuator ideal for seismic tests and investigations of nonlinear structural behavior.

Actuators No. 2 and 3

Actuators No. 2 and 3, with static capacities of 280 kN and dynamic capacities of 200 kN, are key equipment for applying controlled forces in both static and dynamic experiments. These actuators have a 250 mm stroke and, when combined with other systems, can generate simultaneous loading in experimental models. Their precise design and coordinated operation with the central control system and Power Pack make them highly efficient for studying the behavior of structural components under variable loading conditions.

Actuator No. 4

Actuator No. 4, with a static capacity of 140 kN, a dynamic capacity of 100 kN, and a stroke of 250 mm, is designed for applying smaller forces and precise displacement control in sensitive experiments. This device is especially used for structural tests and smaller-scale components, and with the Power Pack system, loading can be applied in a displacement-controlled manner.

Workshop & Auxiliary Equipment

The laboratory is equipped with a 5-ton overhead crane mounted on a 10-ton rail, used for moving heavy specimens and installing experimental setups, playing a key role in the Strong Floor Laboratory. Additionally, the lab contains a full set of specialized toolboxes, vises, anvils, and a four-meter lift, enabling specimen preparation, equipment installation, and minor repairs. These auxiliary tools significantly facilitate the experimental process, accelerate sample preparation, and improve safety, accuracy, and efficiency in setup and loading operations.

Power Pack System

The laboratory’s Power Pack system is designed with high oil circulation speed and the capacity to provide the required pressure and flow for the simultaneous operation of multiple actuators. This system plays a vital role in supplying hydraulic power for conducting static and dynamic experiments. Key features include precise pressure control, stable operation, and rapid response capability, all of which enhance efficiency and safety during the loading process.
