Laboratory Introduction
At the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of Sharif University of Technology, educational activities related to undergraduate students, as well as research and experimental activities involving master’s and PhD students, are carried out. The most important equipment in this laboratory includes triaxial, uniaxial, direct shear, and CBR testing apparatuses.
The Advanced Soil Mechanics Laboratory of Sharif University of Technology is also equipped with a wide range of advanced and diverse laboratory facilities, some of which have been developed by researchers and graduate students of the Geotechnical Engineering Group. Each of these devices has unique features and is selected based on research topics and cutting-edge scientific requirements; when necessary, they are further developed and improved.
