Some of the most important laboratory equipment of the Solid Mechanics Laboratory at the Faculty of Civil Engineering are as follows:
2.5-Ton Universal Testing Machine
Equipped with a movable grip for tensile testing, this machine features a four-channel digital data acquisition system (data logger) and graph-plotting software. It also supports the use of strain gauges for accurate strain measurement.
Dial Indicators
A total of 18 dial indicators with an accuracy of 0.01 mm are available for data recording. Seventeen of these were calibrated and certified in February 2018.
